F. Gilbert Hills, Foxborough, MA
In Adventure Club’s first iteration, we traveled out to the F. Gilbert Hills in Foxborough. This park boasts truly amazing rock outcroppings, beautifully marked and maintained trails, and you feel truly inspired by the power of the “hike”.
Many of the trails were originally constructed and maintained by the Civil Conservation Corp (CCC). These Depression Era laborers were so inspired by their work, that it instilled a love and desire to conserve our natural world for an entire generation. This Labor Day weekend, let’s CELEBRATE that history and show that we are instilling this same passion in a new generation!
Expect about 5+ miles of hiking on our Standard+ Adventure.
**Adventures are typically held rain or shine.
Terrain: Rocky, hilly terrain. Mostly wooded, can be slick in spots.
You need: Proper footwear. Water and a snack. A backpack is encouraged
Your Dog needs: Properly fitting harness, poop bags, water and snacks.
