Haskell Swamp Wildlife Management Area
Directions are tricky for this! If you are coming off of 195, head NORTH on North Street at the Mattapoisett Exit 19B. The small wooded lot will be on the RIGHT at ABOUT the drop pin location. There is a sign.
As you can tell from the directions, this is a lesser known patch of swampy awesomeness! There are some nice logging roads, and certainly some adventurous trekking, especially if you are looking to avoid getting TOO wet out there. Be sure to bring thick socks, waterproof boots, BLAZE ORANGE (this is a Wildlife Management Area after all) and your Exploring Spirit! Let’s go make some trails!

Terrain: Mostly flat, lots of roots and some tricky footing. Potential to get feet WET
You need: Proper footwear. Water and a snack. Signed Release Form.
Your Dog needs: Properly fitting harness, water and snacks. Signed Adventure Contract and EITHER – proof of up-to-date shots or OH Veterinary Release Form.
Parking: Dirt lot.
