This session:
Swansea Village Park
SVP is an Adventure Club favorite as it provides both natural and man made obstacles for both our 4-legged and 2-legged OutHounds. The Park is frequented by mountain bikers and NEMBA members have built various equipment that gives our four-legged adventure partners opportunities to practice typical Canine Agility skills such as seesaws, narrow bridges and climbing walls! Mother Nature hasn’t done a bad job either with all of the pudding stone and large outcroppings that gives the adventurous and sure-footed a view of the treetops. As always, not every obstacle is for everyone and no one is forced to make choices they aren’t comfortable with! However, even if you aren’t making the minor climbs, the ground can be slick and root covered. Who knew that all of this was behind the Swansea Library! Expect about 4-5 miles of hiking on our standard adventure! We are excited to share with our friends from Queer Hikes!
