Come join us for  an OHAC (and particularly a K-Boose) favorite!

We can’t believe the last time out, Adventure Club was getting into the holiday spirit by visiting the magical Christmas tree forest!

Simmons Pond is truly a tenderly cared for oasis that boasts tree cookies, 30 hidden birdhouses, trail magic, history lessons, and a sense of deep pride in a community’s land trust is worthy of K-Boose’s “favorite” designation! Path’s here are wide and welcoming with minimal inclines. Parts of the trail can get not only muddy, but completely flooded–although this tends to be a Springtime occurrence. Expect about 4-5 miles of hiking on our standard adventure! Lite Adventurers should expect about 2-3 miles.

**Adventures are held rain or shine.**

Terrain: Mostly flat, Some street-side walking

You need: Proper footwear.  Water and a snack. Signed Release Form.

Your Dog needs: Properly fitting harness, water and snacks. Signed Adventure Contract and EITHER – proof of up-to-date shots or OH Veterinary Release Form.

Parking: Dirt lot.
