DNRT Ridge Hill
Ridge Hill will live in OHAC lore for all time as our second ever hike brought quite the adventure! One of the neighborhood cattle made one of their all to frequent trips out of his paddock and down to the Ridge Hill parking lot just as we were shoving off! As we said then, sometimes you seek adventure and sometimes adventure finds you!
Ridge Hill also happens to be one of Adventure Tadhg’s favorite DNRT trails, but don’t advertise that too much or else everyone will start going there! Let’s save this gem for the Adventure Club! Path’s here are well cared for by volunteers and offer a little challenge for everyone. There are some steeper inclines and some rocks and roots that make for some tricky footing (especially closer to the reservoir). Expect about 4-5 miles of hiking on our standard adventure!
