Weetamoo Woods is a beautiful gem nestled to northeast of Tiverton Four corners. We tend to begin our adventure on the north west corner of the forest, parking at the Lafayette Road Trail Head.
We are immediately met with a winding, rocky and root filled path as we begin our trek to the scenic outcropping of “High Rock.” Footing can be tricky and there are a couple steep, albeit short, inclines along our way. Expect about 4-5 miles of hiking on our standard adventure! Lite Adventurers should expect about 2-3 miles.
Standard Adventure to be immediately followed by a Lite Adventure.
**Adventures are held rain or shine.**
Terrain: Mostly flat, Some street-side walking
You need: Proper footwear. Water and a snack. Signed Release Form.
Your Dog needs: Properly fitting harness, water and snacks. Signed Adventure Contract and EITHER – proof of up-to-date shots or OH Veterinary Release Form.
Parking: Small Dirt lot or Street side on quiet dead end street.
