This session: Moraine Trail
The Moraine Trail is a 9 mile (one way!) trek that showcases Cape Cod’s ancient glacial history. Buzzard’s Bay Coalition has a wonderful write up and breaks the trail down into 3 parts: the Southern Goodwill Park/Falmouth Town Forest, the Central Collins Woods Lot and the Northern Anna Gordon/ Wildlife Corridor. OHAC will be picking up this dramatic trail in the central section and head North Bound. We will be darting in and out of busy industrial areas before retreating back into the glacial wooded paths! Thank the glacial melt for the beautiful kettle holes and landscape!
Do to travel, this will be an EXTENDED ADVENTURE–out and back.
You need: Proper footwear. Rocky terrain. Water and a snack.
Your Dog needs: Properly fitting harness, water and snacks.
