DNRT’s Slocum River Reserve offers beautiful farm views of the Slocum River with gentle slopes and only a couple moments of precarious footing. This is a hidden gem, often less trafficked than the more popular Destruction Brook up the road. The Standard Adventure will be guided along mainly the perimeter of the Reserve, with a guided path through a hunting zone. Be sure to wear your blaze orange! Ticks can be heavy here, please use spray.

Terrain: Mostly flat, Some street-side walking.
You need: Proper footwear. Water and a snack. Insect repellent highly recommended for ticks.
Your Dog needs: Properly fitting harness, leash, water and snacks.
Parking: Small Dirt lot.
