SUMMARY:Lite Adventure: Copicut Woods (Westport\, MA)
DESCRIPTION:This session:\nCopicut Woods \nCopicut Woods offers a little something for everyone. There a couple of slightly challenging paths with some uneven footing\, but the trails are predominantly wide and grassy with very few inclines. Please check Facebook\, Instagram and emails for severe weather cancellations.** \nTerrain: Mostly flat and grassy. Some precarious rooted paths and slick wooden boardwalks. \nYou need: Proper footwear.  Water and a snack. Signed Release Form. \nYour Dog needs: Properly fitting harness\, water and snacks. SUMMARY:Standard Adventure: Copicut Management Area/ Fire Tower Trail
DESCRIPTION:This session:\nCopicut Wildlife Management Area/ Fire Tower Trail \nSimply labeling this Adventure “Copicut Woods” doesn’t quite do this justice\, as very little time is actually spent in “Copicut Woods!” Tinkle\, K-Boose and Columbus have scouted out a couple of “off the beaten path” trails in recent sessions out this way\, which we think are very much in the spirit of ADVENTURE!! SUMMARY:Lite Adventure: The Bogs (Mattapoisett\, MA)
DESCRIPTION:This session:\nThe Bogs \nThis Lite Adventure\, we will also be joined by Harmonious Hounds’ Rocket Recall Class! he Bogs has been a long time favorite destination for the Adventure Club. The predominantly flat and open trails are great for the beginning hiker\, yet the beauty can be appreciated by all! Adventure Guide Tim does like to lead the group into the forest trail\, which does boast a mild incline and some tricky footing\, depending on the flood stage of the subsequent swamp. Although\, even if we have to double back or risk the dryness of our socks\, we always have a great time out here. (Check out our pictures from the spring!) This a great trail for just getting yourself (and your dog!) OUT and reconnecting with nature. Expect about 4-5 miles of hiking on our standard adventure! Lite Adventurers should expect about 2-3 miles. \nStandard Adventure to be immediately followed by a Lite Adventure. \n**Adventures are typically held rain or shine. SUMMARY:Lite Adventure: Quanapoag Road/ Pine Tree Trail
DESCRIPTION:This Session:  Quanapoag Road/ Pine Tree Trail \nWhen Adventure Guide Tim (aka Tinkle Tim\, aka Lewis) first moved to Southcoast Massachusetts\, the Freetown Fall-River State forest and all of its subsidiaries was an amazing discovery. Boasting miles of trails and fire roads; you could easily spend days exploring all of its nooks and crannies! Being an outsider\, Tim was unaware of Freetown Forest’s mystical legends\, and even now\, Adventure Club has come up short in our endless pursuit of the elusive Pukwudgie! \nHere is yet another launching point that has often been one of Tinkle’s favorites when heading out for one of his own adventures–and he is excited to share it with OHAC! Let us take you on an exciting Adventure! \n“Two roads diverged in a wood\, and I—\nI took the one less traveled by\,\nAnd that has made all the difference.” \n  \nExpect about 4-5 miles of hiking on our standard adventure! Lite Adventurers should expect about 2-3 miles. \nStandard Adventure to be immediately followed by a Lite Adventure.
