DESCRIPTION:This session:\nSakonnet Greenway\, Middletown/Portsmouth RI \nHere at OHAC\, we value our mental health as much as our physical\, and so it is fitting that Adventure Tadhg discovered this gem when he would drive home from his own visits to therapy! (No shame\,  no stigma!) \nStarting at the Polo Grounds\,  the Greenway stretches over 10 miles of trails all the way to Newport Vineyards; passing thru wetlands and skirting the perimeter of Newport’s beautiful golf course.  If heading in the opposite direction\,  you can get to “The Glen” with stunning water views and really cool wooded terrain. What an amazing use of public access! \nExpect about 4-5 miles of hiking on our standard adventure! \n**Adventures are typically held rain or shine. \nTerrain: Mostly flat\,  although some steeper inclines heading towards the Glen. Footing can be very slick on the extensive boardwalks\,  however! \nYou need: Proper footwear.
