SUMMARY:Rescue Cafe Adventure: West Island State Reservation
DESCRIPTION:This session:\nWest Island State Reservation \nWe are happy to have one of our monthly hikes sponsored by the Rescue Cafe in Fairhaven\, MA. As such\, we wanted to bring a Fairhaven flare this month with a trip to West Island. Locals will certainly now West Island for its beautiful beaches and summer vibe\, but not many may have explored the wooded trails that make up nearly half of the island itself. Join us for a pre-summer excursion and we can visit the Cafe for some treats following the hike! \nExpect about 4-5 miles of hiking on our standard adventure. \n**Adventures are typically held rain or shine. \nTerrain: Mostly flat\,  although some steeper inclines heading towards the Glen. Footing can be very slick on the extensive boardwalks\,  however! \nYou need: Proper footwear.
